Respite Wednesday

A Berry Good Summer's Day
Why, Phoebe*, are you come so soon?
Where are your berries, child?
You cannot, sure, have sold them all,
You had your basket piled.

*I wanted to name my last daughter Phoebe, but my husband wouldn't consent to a name that he couldn't spell.

Are they from your yard? The blue transferware are to die for...Nice collection, Debbie!

Phoebe is a beautiful name. I was crazy about 'Phoebe Cates' when I was in college. I had her posters all over my bedroom. She was so beautiful.

Have a nice Wednesday. I'll be posting my Connecticut trip today. I'll do it @ work.

Happy Wednesday!

OMG, I love that name but yes tricky spelling. I grew up next door to a Phoebe, lovely woman. You hardly hear the name anymore.

Beautiful shot.

We have lots of Phoebe's out here,
some are spelled, Feebee, and some are spelled Pheebie, I can't remember any more tonight but you get the gist. Not being able to spell never stopped a southerner.

Everywhere I turn I find an oracle of beauty lurking in your home... surely your children are loathe to leave this place.
