"Pink Saturday" Picnic

Welcome to my very first "Pink Saturday" hosted by Beverly over at How Sweet the Sound. My friend Connie inspired me with her gorgeous photos last week. (I especially love the "pink" tongue on her kitty -- so clever.) I'm excited to be joining this great group of pink lovers as we celebrate living in the pink. Welcome to my PINK SATURDAY PICNIC. : )

Just one word more -- please steal time every day, if you cannot find it in any other way, to lie on the grass, or in a hammock, under a huge tree this lovely month . . . and relax. What a tonic this is for the soul! What a rest for weary nerves! Our husbands, children, friends -- yes, and the nation -- will profit by our relaxation. The greatest need today is for calmer homes, and no fireside can be calm unless its guardian is at peace with the world."
Nell B. Nichols
Ladies Home Companion, 1924

(Sorry, I couldn't come up with a pink ant, but this guy REALLY wanted to be in the pictures.)

I'm so excited that you participated, Debbie. A pink picnic is such a grand idea. I just love all the pink treasures that you own especially the tea pot.

And oh,we can paint the ant pink...did I really say that? o^_^o

We've been soooo busy @ work. I'll be back to catch up on my reading of your previous posts. Today, my friend Karen and I are going to Massachusetts for a little R&R.

Glad you liked my pink flowers! I wish I could tell you more about what kind of trumpet vine I have, but this is something that the previous owner planted. I don't know what half the stuff growing in my flower beds are! However, if it helps, you can borrow that photo and post it and say that you saw this on someone else's site and would like more info! I only know that its a trumpet vine and thats because someone else told me, lol. It didn't bloom at all last year and was a wondeful surprise this summer!

Those pink clogs are the best! Thanks for stopping and saying hi and checking out my other blog too. It seems to be such a nice way to meet nice people, some of whom indeed do travel similar roads. Praying for you and yours too. :o)

Nice clogs! And lovely picnic. I, too, love having 2 kitchens. More decorating possibilities. My main kitchen is black and white and red. Cottage, but not too Mary Engelbreit whimsical. A tad more serious right now. My pastel kitchen is just fun. Don't cook over there much and that may make me love it even more!!! Have a lovely Sunday. It sounds like our youngest girls have a lot in common. My Meg just turned 10 about a month ago. She's beyond delighted about it too! Nice meeting you!
