Respite Wednesday

" If Women were convinced that a day off or an hour of solitude was a reasonable ambition, they would find a way of attaining it. As it is, they feel so unjustified in their demand that they rarely make the attempt."

~~~Anne Morrow Lindbergh~~~
"It Seems to me we can never give up longing and wishing while we are thoroughly alive. There are certain things we feel to be beautiful and good and we must hunger after them."
I believe that longing and wishing are some of the most important things in my life. They give me something to live for, now and in the future :-)
I just made you Blog of the Week.
What is it with women always thinking that they must be on the go and don't deserve a rest? Sunday is becoming more and more refreshing the older I get. Thank goodness God instituted a day of rest!
Thanks for stopping by my blog today!
Karen (fresh fixens) said I should bring this problem to your attention that your hubby might could provide an answer for me...this is the problem (copied off my blog from the other day)
i got the lap top back and i am somewhat frustrated maybe someone out there can tell me the solution...this is the situation, i have wanted a lap top forever so that like today I can be outside and still use the computer and hopefully when I go back to work I can use the laptop to make work more effecient. Thanks to having not worked more than sporatically at best in the last two years money is tighter than normal so when a friend offered the opportunity to get a refurbished lap top at a great price I jumped at it... ok it was a slow jump as i thought and prayed about it a while before actually buying it. Once i had the laptop I had to get a wireless router and card for the laptop, this took a bitof time, again money....anyway when I had done that the lap top would not work with the internet due to liscensing of the windows program that was on it. so I sent the computer back thinking it was something physical and after they tested and found that it was not that we determined that I have the windows that I bought with my desk top and i was told that you can have up to three computers with that same program before you get in to the BUYING of a seperate liscense for windows... anyway i got the laptop back yesterday and proceeded to load my windows onto it... then came time to regester it and bam nope the key code wont work so i call microsoft and get a guy from india who i had to have repeat himself 50 times but finally he says oh no you have to pay microsoft to put windows onto your laptop or you have to disable the desktop to use it on the laptop....so i called the guy who i bought the lap top from who again insists that they have put three computers many times over with each windows program....and never had to pay a liscensing fee. I have yet to call to see just what the fee is as I am sure my very short temper could not deal with it yet and since i technically can use this program for 30 (now 29 days) before i decide what i am going to do....
Anyway If he knows or your know the answer I woudl be so grateful for any help ideas or advice as I want to be able to use my laptop and any other things I want to do with it...
thank you ... Laura
I love these quotes, but I do feel I do not look for rest...too much life to live while I can!
