Guess Who's 20 Today?

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MATTHEW!!!!
[L to R: Gary, Matthew, Debbie & Rachel, Lydia, and Elizabeth]

Twenty years ago today you and your brother arrived way ahead of schedule with a host of special needs. Though the doctors gave you two little chance of surviving, Your Great Heavenly Father had a living plan all laid out for you. Miraculously (and those were the doctors' very words) you two survived, thrived, and made our life most special. What a blessing you have been these past 20 years. You are loved. Let's CELEBRATE with thanksgiving and praise!

Debbie, what a beautiful birthday tribute. Wow! Twenty years... he doesn't look a day over thirty, LOL!

Did Andrew have his ear pierced? :-)

Nope, no pierced ear; merely a shadow on the pic. (It does look like he's sporting an earring, doesn't it?) : )

What a beautiful family you have Debbie. I am certain Andrew celebrated his birthday with Jesus, the lucky guy!

Thank you for stopping by my blog earlier and I look forward to reading yours also. Have a great day!

Happy Birthday and I am so very sorry for your loss several years ago. You are so positive and understand there was a plan. I commend you and your husband for moving on and loving the children still at home. You are blessed.

What a beautiful family!

Happy birthday to both Matthew and Andrew!

How blessed we are to know that God has a plan for each of us and that this life is only a short blink before we will be able to be reunited for the eternities.

But now that I know that you have years of experience caring for children with special needs, don't be too surprised if I come crying to you for advice! :)

What a beautiful post and family. You have such a heart for the Lord, Debbie; it's so contagious. I'm tagging you with the meme as well (if you're interested) because after reading your recent comment I thought "now how could I forget to tag Debbie?? I would LOVE to know what she would write!" Anyway, I'm tagging you but remember there's never any pressure with a meme. You don't even have to do it! ;-)
Fondly and sending hugs along the way, Jo

What a lovely birthday post and memorial. As a Mommy of twin girls (only 5 weeks early) and a medical asst who has worked with CP kids, I found it very touching. You have a lovely blog, I'll have to come back and visit again!

wow, great family, and reading your blog with such a music... it does touch me!
I will pray for Andrew, but I'm sure it's him now praying for us all in front of the lord and in company with all the Saints. And whagt about Matthew? I already feel close to him. You know we run some centres here for kids with special needs, they are marvellouse. Unfortunately there might be a new law passing which will oblige us to shut all these schools and leave some of the kids at home and other... on the streets??? We do need prayers now, nt for us, but for this country and the best for all its people!
