= 101 POSTS!!!!!!

Well, I have been away from the blogosphere for a bit (love that auto-post option) as we entertained family from out of town (and had a blast), gabbed on the phone with my daughter (who is far-far away at college and missed tremendously), and took part in various delightful forms of relaxation that do not require any keyboard action (hey, my journal is smiling again).

I returned from the break to find that my little dashboard counter signified 100 posts had slipped under the bridge and floated off to blogland. I am astonished at the rapid journey from newbie to 100 -- wow! I guess time really does fly when you're having fun!

So how should we celebrate???? I contemplated many celebratory options but none seemed to include everyone. I pondered this over a pot of tea and then it hit me: I would dearly love for each and every one of you readers to drop by for a cup of tea so we could meet and really talk. What a delightful way to while away the afternoon on a 101st post.

So, I invite you to a virtual tea party. Leave a comment and let me know what you think we'd chat about (got any questions?) and what we'd choose to nibble and sip during our teatime chat. I've exchanged emails with some of you, but many of you remain a mystery to me. Could be fun to step from behind the curtain and wave. I'll be on the deck with a teapot under a cozy, just come on in and have a seat. Let's chat . . .

Congratulation on you 101st post! Time flies so fast, isn't it? We both started blogging sometime in June this year! There are a lot of things to talk about and to blog about but my circumstances has made slow down on my posting...

By the way, a cup or 2 of unsweetened black tea with little milk is perfect for me and maybe a tiny slice of chocolate cake for today. The cooler days we've been having lately in RI make me crave for something rich and chocolate-y. Here I would enjoy and savor each sip and cherish your warm friendship.

Have a lovely day, Debbie.

LOVE,
Connie

Congratulations, and what a wonderful idea. I think we could chat about all the fun to be had if all the bloggers could have a big get together.

Congrats!
what a wonderful idea! I would like to sip some earl grey with honey :) and a piece of lemon yogurt cake (I will make it from stretch). we will definitely need to chat about how your journey progressed from the first post to 100th one. I am a rookie and would love to hear the story.

Well, I was invited for a cup of tea three dsys ago with someone whom I had only just met. Two hours later we were still into it discussing Orthodox Christian Trinitarian theology - and agreeing - we are both Protestants. So invite me for a cup of tea, I prefer green, and we could have some deep conversation and a few laughs.

Deb: How could I resist this cordial invitation to sit and sip tea with you! I have brought the BEST scones ever with me! We don't even need the crm. fresh or jam as they are sweet enough! No I did NOT bake them..bought from my favorite tea house!

You've sprinkled your fairy dust again...
what a nice setting. One day we will sit at a table over our blue and white and chat like old friends.
Did you check out the new house I was looking at? I thought of you when we found it!

You lead and I'll follow as far as conversation goes. When we are together I love the tastes, flavors and topics that are so rare in my own home but flow freely through yours. You chat away and I will sip my Very Berry with one lump and glean from the depths of your knowledge and wisdom.

Congrats on your 100th post! What took you a few months took me two years LOL!

Hi! Any tea is good with me, I love variety, sometimes sweet, sometimes not. I would love to visit your garden and learn from your green thumb. We would talk and laugh about cats. Share stories of our kids and maybe your daughter would play some 'tunes'. Thanks for the visit.
Keep writing.

Good strong french roast coffee with cream, and a bit of raisin bread pudding( I will bring both)..., and a nice talk about life and God etc. I would have a lot of questions and lots of photos..., and we could actually see each other for the first time. How nice! It's certainly in the realm of possiblity.
Congratulations on Blog posting 101.You do a great job; keep up the good work.Connie

Well, since I have dropped in so very late in the evening I'd imagine we put on our heavy coats and sit in the garden, next to a fire and check out the stars. We'd talk about life, it's struggles, its rewards, our goals, passions and hopes for the future. There would be no lull in our conversation. It would be grand.

I'd love to talk about our kids of course. All our kids. They're so special in God's eyes and I love hearing how different He made each one. Thanks for the invite to tea. You're the best hostess.

I think we'd have to go thru too many pots of tea so make mine decaf! With chocolate cupcakes...

I know this is a day late, but hopefully not a dollar short (I read this with a chubby drooly baby in my lap yesterday so I couldn't respond (unless it took me 20 minutes from hunting and pecking my letters)

I love herbal teas, so bring on some peppermint for stimulating conversation or chamomile for relaxing conversation..

I also have a sweet tooth, so any goodie will do..I just made cappucino cheesecake pie drizzled with caramel, would you like me to bring some?

As for conversation, I am also up for anything, I'm sure any conversation with you would be just lovely :)
