Through the Eyes of a Child . . .

Christmas

Christmas will be here in a few days,
I think it exciting in many ways.
I hope that the day will be white with snow;
I hope it will be white wherever I go.

There will be icicles on every fountain;
There will be snow on every mountain.
The snow birds will sing their merry song,
And winter will feel very long.

In the winter I will feel great;
The winter will catch me because snow is the bait.
My grandma and aunts and uncles will be
Here for Christmas, and for tea.

Almost 10! Where has the time gone! She has the lovely free spirit that every ten year old should. Love the poem. Reminds me of one I wrote around her age.

Twirling and whizzing and floating away.
Icy cold snow flakes come down this way.
They start as rain drops, then they freeze.
They cover the world with white just to please.

We use them for snowmen, sledding and fun.
Then we get cold and then we run,
Inside to get warm and toasty and hot, and to melt away the snowflakes we like a lot.

I think there was more but thats all I can remember.

Boże Narodzenie

Boże Narodzenie będzie tu za kilka dni,
Myślę, że w wielu ekscytujących sposobów.
Mam nadzieję, że dzień będzie z białym śniegu;
Mam nadzieję, że będą białe, gdzie idę.

Nie będzie sopli na każdym fontanna;
Nie będzie śniegu na każdym górskim.
Śnieg ptaki będą śpiewać ich piosenki tańczyli,
I zimą będzie czuć bardzo długo.

W zimie będę czuć wielką;
W zimie będzie połowu mnie, ponieważ śnieg jest przynęta.
Mojej babci i ciotkom i wujkowie będzie
Tutaj na Boże Narodzenie, i na herbatę.

That's my little Birdie girl singing, awhhhhh she is so adorable.
I really miss you, I mean honestly since your last visit it's really hard to be apart.
Naw can't delet the nose pic..... BWAHAHAHAHHHAAAAA that was so funny!!

Rachel would love it if you'll show it to her. when is her birthday? I can remember her tiny little baby body like it was yesterday. Her little belly button cord hadn't even dropped off yet. I so fell in love with your children.

You can see why Andrew loved me. Lucy says I have a twelve year old boy in my head.

I loved to make Andrew laugh, he had such a great sense of fun.
Oh here I go getting so sentimental!

Wahhhh.

Rachel, that's beautiful. I'm impressed. Keep writing sweetie. You should introduce yourself to Leah's daughter, Hedgehog (her blog name). The two of you might get along beautifully because you both love words, are really smart and about the same age. If you'd like, Kylie or I can hook you up.

Can you do me a favor and tell your mom I love her and thanks for her support. Also, thanks for the great Christmas music. Like all of you, I listen to Christmas music year round!!! Can't help myself.

Keep writing my dear and please don't forget to tell Mom I love her.

XO Suze
