Respite Wednesday

Settled in his downy feathers,
Her head above the fluff;
Anticipation building,
Amidst the smooth takeoff.
In a flash, borne aloft,
ground receded 'neath her gaze;
Fearing loss of all familiar,
She trained her eye above.
She focused on the possible,
Letting wind rush through her hair;
Her voice fell mute,
Her mind flowed free,
And joy fulfilled the dream.

Hi. You ask in your profile comment
if anyone's heard of any good books
lately. May I suggest one you might like? "Outcasts Of Skagaray" is an action adventure fantasy, Christian inspired, and you can preview it by reading the two sample chapters on www.threeswans.com.au My blog, if you feel like visiting, is http://threeswans.blogspot.com Your comments would be welcome. It would delight me if you read and enjoyed my novel, but unconditionally, I greet you in the Lord. Blessings.
