Respite Wednesday

The son felt fenced in.

His father took him to the fence and bid him look;
he looked and did not see a hedge of thorn
or a barbed wire entanglement;
he saw a hedge of feathers.

~~ Amy Carmichael ~~
His thoughts said . . . His father said . . .

He shall cover thee with his feathers,
and under his wings shalt thou trust:
his truth shall be thy shield and buckler.

Psalm 91:4
