Respite Winds-day

Springs plays in the gardens today,
Born aloft on the wings of a breezy-ness
That welcomes April with a sunny smile.

Precious Faith blossoms all around.
Planted out so long ago
Patiently awaited.
(Worthwhile wait, don't you agree?)

Lilac's first blossom
Floods my mind with memories of my Great-Grandma:
Tea sipped from violet-sprigged china cups,
Rhubarb dumplings floating in cream,
Lilac-scented hankies tucked in a sleeve.

A crabapple shouting,
"Spring has arrived!
Come out and play!"

A nibble of lunch in the fresh breeze.

Wind chimes dancing merrily,
Casting rainbows prism-born
in a breeze filled with joy.

"Oh, then I think I shall wish everyone a happy 'Winds Day',
And I shall begin with--my very dear friend...Piglet!"
~~Pooh on a blustery day~~

I shall follow suit and wish you all
HAPPY WINDS DAY!

Happy Winds Day to you too! Lovely Daffodil, and I absolutely adore Lilacs!!! Your Crabapple is covered in blossoms--do you make jelly with the apples? I can't think of a finer place to eat lunch--what a peaceful spot.

We are getting LOTS of rain on this first day of April...and looking forward to the May flowers that the April showers will bring. Lilacs has always been one of my favorites, and have really missed them since we left Illinois.
BE BLESSED:-)

Oh Debbie,
Thanks for sharing and I think of your burdens and situation a lot!
I have no idea what life is like raising an autistic son.
My prayers are with you.
You are such a sweet sweet spirit.
