Update . . .

Gloria is continuing to decline. Gary's brother reported that she is one step away from a ventilator. The infection continues unabated. Brain damage appears likely. My husband continues to shepherd us through this shadowy valley with a most godly hand. I am blessed, even as I am broken . . .

Oh, Debbie, I am so sorry. Has she signed a "Do not resuscitate" order? Does she want to be kept alive on a vent?

I know these are hard questions. We had to ask my MIL these questions when she went into the home. It is so hard to think about 'end of life' decisions.

I'm still praying for Gloria, and you!

I'm going out of town tomorrow so I may not be able to hear anything for the weekend, but trust me, I'll check on you as soon as I can.

Blessings to you, dear friend.

Sweetie, I'm so sorry. I've been away from the blog world for a bit, or I'd have been praying since Sunday. Praying now, trusting our Father who knows and does what is best in and for His children. All of you.

Love you.

Debbie, I am so sorry. How old is she? She knows the Lord? I have not been blogging so much and am just now learning this. Know that I will pray for her and for your family. I know what you mean about a Godly husband shepherding you through. How very blessed you are. How blessed is your MIL wish such a son. And we know that she has everything to look forward to and nothing to dread as she enters face to face. And we know that time is short here for all of us and what a reunion to look forward to, should God call her on to Heaven before.
Love,
Jennifer

I will hold all of you in my prayers, especially your dear mother-in-law. I'm sorry I only just now read about this; I've been away.
