A Room With A View

Each morning I awake to this view

Or this one
Or this one
Depending on which way I turn in my turreted sitting room.

(And so I post these photos in my defense as to why I have not thanked you ever so much for your prayers and updated you on how beautifully the Lord carried me through my chat with the women over tea. There were MANY to listen . . . and so many thanked me for the encouragement they gleaned from the sharing of my Pathway to Joy. I will sit down and post a proper update soon. Until then . . . please gaze on these photos and forgive me for running out to play rather than sitting down to the computer.)

[Pitter, patter . . . away she swishes into the leafy splendor and heady fragrance of a rose garden GONE MAD in the summery temps!]

A lovely view to sit and renew your spirit and talk with God.

Wow, if I had that beautiful garden, I'd be out in it too. I'd take pictures of my view out my windows, but first I'd have to wash them, and secondly, all you'd see is the cats, the unfinished 'sewer' project, dead trees, and weeds. I used to have a nice yard, but a few years ago, we had those 'hot', blowing winds that killed everything. I told my hubby I wouldn't be doing it again until I got an underground sprinkler. Well that hasn't happened.

You keep posting your pretty pictures, and I'll enjoy your garden vicariously! I'm glad I can paint pretty flowers!

I'm glad your talk went well.

Hi Debbie,
Thank you for leaving me a message today on my post on keeping house. As a gardener I know how every spare minute we want to be in the great outdoors. And as a mom of a special boy, the time that takes as well, so it makes it even more special that you would take the time. I'm loving the work in the garden these days and I come in bone tired. The best kind of tired.
Hugs,
June

Your images are beautiful. You put a smile on my face - and I am very weary. What you share is a blessing to this One Woman.

The more you post the more I realize that my imagination in winter didn't even BEGIN to do justice to what spring is like at your place!

Beautiful, beautiful. Who said that? Lawrence Welk? LOL

After having just returned from Seattle I can honestly imagine the fragrance from those flowers when the sun hits them...

BTW--I love the pathways. How neat they are! And I am so glad your sharing went well. It's always nerve wracking to share yourself in front of others, isn't it?

Have fun in your gardens!

Beautiful!
I want those roses and that view out my windows!
Sometime please share which roses you've had luck with as well as the fragrant ones.

Your gardens are beautiful. You and Karen are master gardeners.

I'm so glad the tea went well with the ladies. I knew you'd do great.

And I have to say that I love your playlist, and also love the fact that it's turned off and you give me the option of turning it on. I get annoyed sometimes when music blares when I open a friend's page.
