Remembering Those Who Gave Their Life to Protect Our Freedom

We Must Never Forget.

Only take heed to thyself,
And keep thy soul diligently,
Lest thou forget the things
Which thine eyes have seen,
And lest they depart from thy heart
All the days of thy life:
But teach them thy sons,
And thy sons' sons.

Deuteronomy 4:9

Do you wonder if our sons and daughters are being taught the real meaning of Memorial Day?

I am so proud of our military, and what they do for our country, and many countries around the world.

As usual, your blog entry was very nice.

Amen! Very fitting Scripture for today, and lovely picture to go with it.

perfect, yes, we need to take heed, for the sacrifices given to not have been in vain. I think the country has forgotten or gone to sleep or is drunk with sin, but I am grateful that those who have given their lives do not know what the "state of the union" is.

It's true, sometimes I forget to emphasize the importance of Memorial Day- thanks for the reminder that we should teach our sons (and daughters) :)
