Sunday Wonder

Wherefore comfort yourselves together,
And edify one another,
Even as also ye do.

I Thessalonians 5:11

* * *

And I will pray the Father,
And he shall give you another Comforter,
That he may abide with you for ever . . .
The Spirit of Truth . . .
Ye know him;
For he dwelleth with you,
And shall be in you.

John 14:16-17

Come Holy Ghost, Creator Blest,
And in our hearts take up thy rest,
Come with thy grace and heavenly aid
To fill the hearts which thou hast made.

O Comforter, to thee we cry,
Thou heavenly gift of God most high!
Thou font of life and fire of love
And sweet anointing from above.

Drive far away our deadly foe,
And peace for evermore bestow;
If thou be our preventing guide,
No evil can our steps betide.

Praise we the Father and the Son,
And Holy Spirit, Three in one;
And may the Son on us bestow
The gifts that from the Spirit flow. Amen.

Debbie,
May you have a glorious Sunday with your family.
Blessings,
Virginia

Hello Debbie,

I really needed to hear that today. Comfort and edify. There has not been enough of that in my home these past few weeks. So easy to slip into bad habits when you're tired and stressed. Just bait for the devil to cause havoc. So from this moment on I will work on these two things. Thankyou for the timely reminder. What a wonderful God we serve and isn't it amazing how he will use someone on the other side of the world to send us a message.
Are these two lovely kitties yours.

Blessings Gail
